Interlake had won four straight games and Julian Hayes did his part to make it five on Friday. The Saints claimed a resounding 48-7 win over the Cedarcrest Red Wolves for which the team can thank Hayes, who threw for 330 yards and six touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards and one score on only five carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 23 passing touchdowns on the season.
Interlake's leading receiver Max Stephenson was Hayes' top target yet again, picking up 139 receiving yards and three TDs. Stephenson really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 98 yards.
