Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After losing to Dyersburg the last time they met, Trinity Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans on Tuesday. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Trinity Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-16, 25-17, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Emma Niven and Mallory Arnold, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Edie Allen and her 39 assists. Brianna Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
