Basketball Game Preview: Wasatch Academy Tigers vs. CIA-Bella Vista Bears

The Wasatch Academy Tigers will challenge the CIA-Bella Vista Bears on Friday. Wasatch Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully CIA-Bella Vista likes a good challenge.

Wasatch Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Millard North, who was ranked eighth in their home state at the time (Wasatch Academy was ranked fifth). Wasatch Academy strolled past Millard North with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 67-48.

Meanwhile, CIA-Bella Vista didn't have too much trouble with Oak Hill Academy on Saturday as they won 71-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Wasatch Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for CIA-Bella Vista, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.
