Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poyen). They never let the Fordyce Redbugs get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Poyen's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Fordyce, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Poyen and Fordyce will both be playing Gurdon the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Go-Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Redbugs will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
