Softball Recap: Clearview Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oberlin on Monday, Clearview came back down to earth. The Clippers came up short against the Wellington Dukes on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Dukes: they've now lost six in a row.

Clearview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Ocasio, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Ocasio is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Wellington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clearview is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wellington will face off against rival Keystone at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
