Basketball Recap: Tri-State Christian Wins Going Away Against Unity Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quad Cities Christian, Tri-State Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Unity Christian Knights 51-33. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Huskies this season.

Despite the loss, Unity Christian still got an impressive performance from Nathan Woessner, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. That was a full 51.5% of Unity Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Tri-State Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Unity Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Tri-State Christian will venture away from home to take on East Moline Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
