Recap: Cloverdale Eagles vs. Willits Wolverines
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middletown, the Cloverdale Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Willits 63-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cloverdale also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Cloverdale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Patton, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Patton has scored at least a third of Cloverdale's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Garibaldi, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Cloverdale now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Willits, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Cloverdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cloverdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. Willits does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
