Sullivan took  a  three-set  defeat the last time they faced off against Union, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats on Thursday, sneaking past  3-2. The  win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six  matchups in a row.
 Sullivan took Union into a fifth set  where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 25-27, 25-17,  15-10.
 Andi Giebler had a dynamite game,  getting 19  digs and three assists. That's the most  assists  she has posted  over her last 14  matches.
 Sullivan  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. They  served six more  aces than Union's also-impressive total of 12.
Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 17-9-4. As for Union, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21-1 record  this season.
As of now, neither Sullivan nor Union have any future games scheduled.
