Basketball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown was the 51-45 winner over Colerain when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Middletown Middies took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colerain Cardinals on Wednesday.

Middletown has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Colerain, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Middletown is taking a road trip to take on Hamilton at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Colerain, they will be playing at home against Lakota East at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
