Soccer Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses, falling 6-0. If Lutheran were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to Dixon when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will welcome Rockford Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dixon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Freeport at 6:00 p.m.
