Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Windward

Windward's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Kearny Komets 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Windward's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Kearny, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Windward will take on Olympian in a tournament on Thursday. As for Kearny, they will be taking part in a tournament against Francis Parker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
