Soccer Game Preview: Trinity vs. Timber Creek

The Trinity Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Timber Creek Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Trinity and Byron Nelson finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Timber Creek might've scored the first goal on Tuesday, but it was Byron Nelson who claimed the real prize. The Falcons fell just short of the Bobcat by a score of 3-2.

Yeshua Rincon and Alex Diaz scored both of Timber Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Trinity's draw makes their record 10-7-3 this season. As for Timber Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2.

Trinity came up short against Timber Creek in their previous matchup back in January, falling 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
