Basketball Game Preview: West Wendover Wolverines vs. North Tahoe Lakers

West Wendover has gone 8-2 against North Tahoe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The West Wendover Wolverines will challenge the North Tahoe Lakers at 8:00 p.m. West Wendover is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games.

West Wendover's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Adryan Carlos, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 16 points in addition to eight boards and six steals, and Estaban Correa, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 18 points along with six assists and three steals. Carlos is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trea Hendriks, who posted nine points and seven boards.

West Wendover pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points over those games. As for North Tahoe, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
