Volleyball Recap: Texas School for the Deaf Starts off Right with Win over Travis + How To Watch

Texas School for the Deaf gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Travis Rebels as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Texas School for the Deaf's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-16.

Texas School for the Deaf can attribute much of their success to Ava Beese, who had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Beese has posted since back in August of 2024.

Coming up, Texas School for the Deaf will take on McCallum in a tournament on Thursday. As for Travis, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against San Marcos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
