Recap: Park Rapids Panthers vs. Hawley Nuggets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pelican Rapids, the Park Rapids Panthers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 73-62 win over Hawley. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Park Rapids' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Larson led the charge by scoring 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Larson has scored at least 25% of Park Rapids' points. Another player making a difference was Blake Morris, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Park Rapids now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hawley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
