Volleyball Recap: Maywood CES' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Maywood CES waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Torres Toros as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wolfpack have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Toros, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

The win got Maywood CES back to even at 9-9. As for Torres, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Maywood CES will challenge rival Sotomayor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Torres is set to take on their familiar foe Maywood Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
