Basketball Recap: Tri-County North Takes a Loss

Tri-County North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Franklin Monroe Jets 73-40. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 742nd, while the Jets are ranked 220th).

Tri-County North's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Franklin Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

When Tri-County North and Franklin Monroe next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tri-County North will try to stop Dixie's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Franklin Monroe will face off against Newton Local and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
