Volleyball Recap: Marist Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Maddie Campbell and Sawyer Straley

Marist lost against Blessed Trinity back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The War Eagles fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1.

Marist's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sawyer Straley, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Maddie Campbell, who had eight digs.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Marist will take on Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blessed Trinity, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mount Paran Christian on the 12th.
