Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cass). Everything went their way against the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 70-49 win. The victory continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won seven in a row.

Cass' win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Cass will take on Cartersville in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonels will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-54 loss against Gordon Central on the 13th.
