Softball Preview: Kelly Hawks vs. Jefferson Blue Jays
Kelly has gone 6-1 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Hawks challenges the Jefferson Blue Jays at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Kelly and nine for Jefferson.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against North County on Thursday, falling 12-5. While the Blue Jays didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders 3-2 in the first period.
Cecelia Ott and Annabelle Richardson did some serious damage despite the final result: Ott went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and a triple, while Richardson got on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Burger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
