Basketball Recap: Parker Distleberg Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Redlands

Arrowhead Christian won the last time they faced Redlands and things went their way on Friday too. The Arrowhead Christian Eagles came out on top against the Redlands Terriers by a score of 49-41. The 49-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Arrowhead Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Distleberg, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Garang Ngodi, who put up ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Redlands lost, don't look at Charlie Schadwinkel. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Schadwinkel's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Sean Wimberly was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Arrowhead Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Redlands, their record now sits at 2-6.

Arrowhead Christian will welcome Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redlands, they will venture away from home to square off against Palm Desert at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Desert will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Redlands surely won't give up without a fight.
