Sierra had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Caruthers Blue Raiders 72-34. That's more bragging rights for the Chieftains, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sierra's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Hallman led the charge by putting up 15 points along with eight boards and six steals. Those six steals gave Hallman a new career-high. Chayce Duerksen was another key player, earning 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Sierra's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Caruthers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Sierra didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-46 victory against Liberty on the 11th. As for Caruthers, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-51 win against Parlier on the 11th.
