Football Game Preview: Georgetown-Ridge Farm vs. Martinsville

Georgetown-Ridge Farm have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Martinsville at 7:00 PM. Georgetown-Ridge Farm don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They took the contest and then some with a 54-7 victory last Friday over Momence. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Georgetown-Ridge Farm had established a 48-7 advantage.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Martinsville, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-42 punch to the gut against Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's win lifted them to 4-3 while Martinsville's loss dropped them down to 0-6. Georgetown-Ridge Farm caused 4 turnovers against Momence, so Martinsville will need to take especially good care of the ball.
