Baseball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central fell victim to West Vigo and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 6-0. If the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for West Vigo, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

North Central has already played their next game, a 16-3 defeat against Bloomfield on the 4th. As for West Vigo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against White River Valley on the 1st.
