            Baseball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Komets vs. Stewartville Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            After low-scoring totals in their previous three  matchup, Kasson-Mantorville brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. They came out on top against the Stewartville Tigers on Tuesday by a score of  10-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The game was the first time the Komets have beaten the Tigers on their field since May 15, 2017.

 Sam Graunke was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braden Lawrence, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Kasson-Mantorville  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Kasson-Mantorville's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-5. As for Stewartville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Looking ahead, Kasson-Mantorville will be playing in front of their home fans against Northfield  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Stewartville, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Faribault  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
