Baseball Game Preview: Lexington Bulldogs vs. Lone Grove Longhorns

For the second straight game, Lexington will face off against Lone Grove. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Lexington: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Lone Grove has snatched up ten consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Lexington fell victim to Lone Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Longhorns, falling 9-0.

Lexington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James McMillan, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lone Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
