Soccer Recap: Rural Retreat Takes a Loss

Rural Retreat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Honaker Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Honaker this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Monday.

Rural Retreat's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Honaker, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Rural Retreat nor Honaker have any future games scheduled.
