Highland had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Gilbert Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Camryn Thruston, who had 16 digs and four assists.

Highland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Highland's record now sits at 27-9. As for Gilbert, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilbert, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Queen Creek on the 30th.
