Baseball Recap: Grants Pass Has No Trouble Against South Eugene

Ten must be Grants Pass's lucky number: they beat South Eugene with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Cavemen were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Axe. The contest marked the Cavemen's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Grants Pass is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for South Eugene, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
