Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hobbton Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Union started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-13, 25-11, 25-20.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hobbton, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Union will face off against rival West Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hobbton is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
