Baseball Recap: Avalon Comes Up Short

Avalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Kerens Bobcats, falling 10-0.

Avalon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Kerens, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Avalon is set to square off against their familiar foe Wortham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kerens will challenge rival Mildred at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
