Softball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Turner's offense. They lost 16-0 to Reedy on Wednesday. Turner has struggled against Reedy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Turner saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grecia De La Garza, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was De La Garza's first of the season.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Reedy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.

Coming up, Turner will square off against Wakeland at 6:45 p.m. on March 26th. Wakeland's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Turner's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Reedy, they will challenge Highland Park at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
