Volleyball Recap: Prospect Hill Academy Comes Up Short

Prospect Hill Academy lost against Pioneer Charter School of Science II back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Prospect Hill Academy took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pioneer Charter School of Science II.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 15-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Pioneer Charter School of Science II's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yurie Lee, who had 11 assists and five aces. Lee is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Sreesha KC was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.

Prospect Hill Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Coming up, Prospect Hill Academy will host Collegiate Charter School of Lowell on Tuesday. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they will square off against Pioneer Charter School of Science at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
