If Illinois Math & Science Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Chicago Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Ryan Vanden Bosch. The Knights came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Vanden Bosch, who had 14 digs and three aces. He has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 11 times he's played.

Chicago Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

The win made it two in a row for Chicago Christian and bumps their season record up to 17-13. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Chicago Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chicago Hope Academy on the 13th. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Larkin on the 13th.
