Basketball Recap: Loudoun County HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Loudoun County HomeSchool lost against Carroll Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Loudoun County HomeSchool Patriots took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carroll Christian.

Leading Carroll Christian to victory were Joanna Mathews and Joelle Mathews. Joanna posted 29 points and four steals, while Joelle dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 boards. The game was Joanna's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Loudoun County HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Carroll Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Loudoun County HomeSchool will head out to take on Maryland School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carroll Christian has already played their next contest, a 70-43 defeat against Springdale Prep on the 4th.
