Baseball Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney lost against Artesia back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 15-3 to the Pioneers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitney saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kavi Stris, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Aaron Victoria, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Whitney now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Artesia, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pioneers beat Whitney by a score of 8-3 on Friday.
