Softball Recap: Continental Pirates vs. Holgate Tigers
Continental waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Holgate Tigers by a score of 5-2. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Gracie Homier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Those 17 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
