Basketball Recap: Intrinsic Skates Past Marine Leadership Academy with Ease

Intrinsic's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs 62-21. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their 19-point performance the game before.

Intrinsic was led to victory by Giovanni Zacarias and Victor Guzman. Zacarias posted 16 points, while Guzman put up 15 points. Those 16 points gave Zacarias a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Delaney, who scored eight points.

Intrinsic's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Marine Leadership Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Intrinsic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Holy Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marine Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
