Volleyball Recap: Jovie Lind Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Graham-Kapowsin

Timberline's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles. The Blazers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Timberline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jovie Lind, who had nine digs and two aces. Lind is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Timberline now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Graham-Kapowsin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Timberline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kentlake on the 13th. Graham-Kapowsin has also already played their next contest (against Auburn Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
