Basketball Recap: Hydaburg Comes Up Short

Hydaburg lost against Kake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hydaburg Warriors had to suffer through an 83-18 loss at the hands of the Kake Thunderbirds. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hydaburg moved to 5-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Kake, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Hydaburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-39 win against Hoonah on the 28th. As for Kake, they have also already played their next game, a 56-40 victory against Klawock on the 28th.
