Football Game Preview: Mitchell vs. Huron

On Friday Huron take on Mitchell at 7:00 PM. Huron are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Last Friday, Huron came up short against Yankton, falling 27-38. This makes it the second loss in a row for Huron.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Washington, Mitchell were happy to find some success. Mitchell put a hurting on Douglas to the tune of 55-20. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (49) and coasted on those for the win.

Mitchell's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Huron's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. In their victory, Mitchell relied heavily on senior Kiel Nelson, who rushed for 76 yards and 3 touchdowns. Huron will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
