It was a good run, but Benjamin Franklin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the West Jefferson Buccaneers, falling 62-42. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buccaneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Benjamin Franklin's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-17. As for West Jefferson, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-15-1.
