Baseball Game Preview: Tuckahoe Tigers vs. Valhalla Vikings

The Tuckahoe Tigers will challenge the Valhalla Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuckahoe managed to slip by Briarcliff the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 10-2 to the Bears on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 9, 2024.

Luca Delconte was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Silvestri, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Putnam Valley, falling 13-1.

Tuckahoe's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Valhalla, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
