Basketball Game Preview: Custer County Bobcats vs. Crested Butte Titans

Custer County hasn't had much luck against Crested Butte recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Custer County Bobcats will take on the Crested Butte Titans in a tournament on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, Custer County didn't have quite enough to beat Cotopaxi and fell 50-48.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kal Tunnell, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Rusk, who scored 13 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Crested Butte against South Park on Saturday as the team secured a 57-22 victory. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Burros recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Crested Butte's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Custer County, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-7.

Custer County beat Crested Butte 55-46 when the teams last played on February 8th. Does Custer County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crested Butte turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
