Cypress Creek's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Northbrook Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Cypress Creek was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-16.

Luna Forh paced Cypress Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Forh got some help from Devyn Wilkes and her 15 assists. Shelby Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Cypress Creek is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-15 record this season. As for Northbrook, their defeat was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cypress Creek is set to face off against their familiar foe Jersey Village at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northbrook will challenge rival Cy-Fair at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
