Softball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Green Bobcats

South Point scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Green Bobcats as the South Point Pointers made off with a 10-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

South Point let Alli Stidham and Adyson Copley loose on the outfield. Stidham scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Copley went 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Maddy Evans was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

The win got South Point back to even at 3-3. As for Green, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

South Point will stay at home for another game and welcome Gallia Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. South Point will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Green, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m.
