Softball Preview: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. West Stokes Wildcats
Walkertown hasn't had much luck against West Stokes recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Walkertown will head out on the road to take on West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Walkertown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Morehead, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Walkertown blew past Morehead 12-1 on Thursday.

Macy Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Savannah Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Taylor Isley was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
