Recap: Ravenswood Red Devils vs. Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders
In what's become a running theme this season, the Ravenswood Red Devils gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Parkersburg Catholic 62-35 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ravenswood has posted since November 28, 2023.
Ravenswood had a senior duo take command as Hadleigh McGoskey scored 23 points and Emily Wratchford scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Adams, who scored six points.
Ravenswood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Parkersburg Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
Ravenswood will be playing at home against Ripley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Sophie Nichols and McGoskey. Parkersburg Catholic will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Frankfort at 1:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
