King George lost against Chancellor back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The King George Foxes took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chancellor Chargers.
King George's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TaShawn Thomas, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Aiden Wright was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 13 points and five boards.
Larell Edwards continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chancellor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Edwards is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarmaine Burkett, who had seven points along with five boards and three steals.
