Softball Game Preview: Forrest County Agricultural Aggies vs. Meridian Wildcats

The Forrest County Agricultural Aggies will head out to square off against the Meridian Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Forrest County Agricultural has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Forrest County Agricultural easily dispatched Perry Central on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Forrest County Agricultural fell just short of Seminary by a score of 11-9 on Friday. The Aggies haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Forrest County Agricultural got a big performance out of Desteney Hartfield, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Presley Parker, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Meridian came up short against Wayne County on Saturday, falling 13-3.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
